This year I plan to publish much more complete guides to all the modules in IELTS, as well as a more general guide to the exam itself and how to study for it at different levels. In the meantime, do you have any particular tips you want to share? Particularly of course if you did well. I’m experienced enough a teacher to know that what works for me and my students isn’t the only answer – sometimes a tip from another learner can be much more valuable and practical.
If you do have something to share, there are two possible ways to do this.
- Simply leave a comment on this posting for others to read
- If you prefer, contact me via this form and I will publish them separately – anonymously if you like
Ideas to consider
Is there one killer tip you have that everyone should know about?
Was there any one particular problem you had with one skill? What did you do to overcome it?
Did you have a particular study routine? How long did you study a day/week? Did you study the skills separately or together? did you change the routine as the exam got closer?
How did you practise the different skills? (Speaking and writing tend to be the tough ones).
Is there any book/website/resource you really recommend and why?
