Forms of the word

style

stylish

stylishly

stylishness

stylise

stylised

Using the word

learning/teaching/management etc: Most successful teachers recognise that different students have different learning styles.

have: I admire her because she has such style. [spoken]

traditional/modern etc: I don’t really care for the modern style of buildings: they may be more comfortable but they lack personality. [spoken]

in/out of: For example, people often are pressured into buying new clothes because their old ones are out of style. 

dresser/restaurant etc: She is an extremely stylish dresser. 

 

An idiom

to cramp someone’s style: if you cramp someone’s style, you prevent them from acting in a way they’d like to – normally by making it socially awkward for them
