Today’s word from the Academic Word list is



This word is useful as it helps describe feelings/opinions about a topic – something that you will need to do frequently in your writing:

It is often used in combination with these verbs:

change attitudes

adopt/assume an attitude

influence attitudes

It is also used with these adjectives:

a positive/negative attitude

an ambivalent attitude

The most common preposition is to or towards

Other phrases that you may find useful are:

an attitude problem

attitude and behaviour

attitude and values

    It is excellent.But I need friendly print for all word of the day.
